Flowers , Leaves , Branches and our Unwanted Distinguishing Factor

We normally tend to appreciate flowers like rose , lotus , marigold which we find in the market or some flower exhibition’s or is used for either giving it to your lady love or those lovely gods and goddesses.

We have created a clear cut distinguishing factor between these freely available flowers and the ones we find in some lonely places , mountains or some of them even in cities which we call as “ jungly phool”.

These flowers can be compared to stars on the earth with multiple colour's and fragrance as it's jewel and crown respectively.

Some of the beautiful flowers grow in wild untouched by the world , Who knows what important roles these flowers play without we knowing about it's significance.

Though I am not aware about the names or the botanical differences each flower has but it really didn't matter because they look extremely beautiful in their natural surroundings.

The shapes , the colours , the designs which that supreme power has given to these natural beauties is uncomparable.

We should start appreciating the “good but not necessarily hi-fi things (which has been deciphered by us only)".

I am actually surprised at the double standards which people resort to in the name of save environment , They use pla-cards made of paper or cardboard , the source for which is our very own humble trees.

One more thing that irks me is that some people go to far away places for picnics just to have booze by sitting inside the room , Does it make sense as if you want to really booze you can stay back in your room or go to some bar and booze and dont waste money on travelling.I think we should travel to enjoy the natural habitat of flora and fauna.

Don't you feel that nature is at its best in the above snap , the butterfly is so beautifully extracting nectar from the flower or might be just sitting and relaxing.

We should educate our future generation about these rich flora and fauna by taking them to the safe wilderness and show these beautiful flowers in their natural habitat and not on Internet.

It is so intriguing to see these flowers get so many different types of colours and shapes naturally and we human thing we can create anything which is superior than the nature.

Don't you think God is a great artiste............................................

Such great colour combinations , who would have thought...............

I cannot think of writing as I am in loss of words to describe these magics of nature of such high magnitude.

Love Nature , Grow Trees , Spread the aroma of happiness.

Dance with Two Left Feet

I was part of Shaimak Davar's dance batch.....Actually my better half Saumya made me join the dance batch as she wanted me to loose weight ( though I didn't loose much ) but had the time of my life.

The ambience , the experience was an unforgettable one....

On the first day , I felt little odd looking at the kids who were very young in compare to my age and thought Oh My God! , have I taken the right decision of joining the dance class.

Below in the snap is the entire gang of our batch.

But all my initial inhibitions took a back seat when I saw that the dance instructors " Naresh ( My and Saumya's personal favourite ...Sorry Puneet and Gayathri.......Puneet...Gayathri...You guys are really sweet heart's), Puneet , Gayathri made us feel very comfortable.

Below in the snap , to the left is Puneet with the head band and to the right is Naresh.

We used to wait when the weekend will come and when we will go to the class and enjoy our session of Yoga and dance steps.

Naresh is an amazing dancer.....The kind of buoyance he exherts is simply superb....

Dance really made me feel relaxed and forget the day to day tensions atleast for an hour and half and with such amazing intructors it become even more enjoyable.

They made even a guy like me with two left feet shake a leg or two with great ease and comfort.

By a fan of  Jeetendra , Mithunda , Govinda and Naresh.

Daman - An Unexpected Journey

An unexpected journey was lying ahead for me and my better half.....It was a last minute decision to go to Daman....Though we have heard that it was a paradise for liqour lovers but we both thought lets take a blindfolded plunge as we didn't had any other option .Just thought that if our luck is with us ( believe me it was withus , touchwood ) we might get some unexplored places and moments for clicking some amateur photographs and of course going to a less inhabitated town , village or for that matter even a city away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowd of big city for a day or two is always a welcome change.

The Nani Daman fort with the statue of St. Jerome.

Was amazed to look at some of the amazing forts though small in stature but big in grandeur. To withstand some of the toughest environmental changes , that too for so many centuries and still continuing to stand unscathed haunts my senses. The only thing which affects it is "WE" who have created it with such dedication and are destroying it with even more dedication. Its high time we do something to make such place of  history as protected site or else we will only be able to see these places of high significance in snaps.

A beautiful view of the Indian Ocean from Nani Daman Fort. It was evening time and the water was very serene , just felt like looking at the birds which were flying around with those tiny boats standing on those still waters as if they are quietly listening to the melodious music of mother nature.

The entrance to the Moti Daman Fort Area. The area has in its vicinity the Bom Jesus Church , The Heritage Light House , The Pargola garden built in the memory of Portuguese soldiers.

The road to go towards the Heritage Light house ( the snap to your right ) is greeted by the huge tree above.

Inside the Moti Daman Fort , we found the Bom Jesus Church. It is really magnificient with some really good work of craftsmanship to be seen of that era.You have to really see it to believe it.

In the area near the Moti Daman fort we also saw the Church of our lady of Remedios.

A very quiet place where we can just go and sit and relax. There is a sense of relaxation and peace once you enter the place.I guess everyone feels the same when they entire the place of god .We just leave all the wordly things aside and find some moments to converse with god.

The Somnath Mahadev Temple

The Somnath Mahadev Temple in the Dabel area is one of the temples you shouldn't miss if you are planning a trip to Daman. The temple has Shivling , a Ganesh Idol , Hanumanji Idol.Check out the ceiling, It is also beautifully done.

We saw some of the best places of worship , forts which could have been in grand form , had a good head , foot massage done at the resort where we stayed. The food was good and after many months had roadside golas.

On the beach we saw some live shell fish ( not sure about their exact names ) but found them very cute and amazing when they crawled out of their shell.

Some random snaps taken in Daman at various locations including the ones mentioned above. The snap to the above left is the door of the church of our lady of remedios which states that the church was built in 1607.To the right is the Cross at the entrance of the fort of Nani Daman.Below to the left is the bell at the church of our lady of remedios and to the right is the scenic view of Moti Daman from Nani Daman.

Here comes the snaps of the photographers themselves caught in the frame with a pose.

Thanks for giving your valuable time to read and watch.

Hey Ram

One Man showed the entire world that war can be fought and won using non violence methods.

One Man showed how truth prevails though it is a difficult path to walk.

One Man gave courage to millions to face the tyrannical rule of the mighty and the majestic force without fear.

One Man wearing just a loin cloth covered millions of people with the cloth of pride by giving them freedom.

One Man died for millions and his last words were "HEY RAM".

Be Proud to be an Indian.

Mangalore - Mystically Beautiful

Mangalore , I was not getting the right start to describe such a mystic , rustic , beautiful place god has created on earth. With its Beautiful Temples , Amazing Cuisine , Gigantic Beaches and Simple People Mangalore is a place to visit and fell in love at first sight.

I am sure all those romantic people out there will have a good time with their loved ones sitting next to them and the winds gushing past through them composing natural music , the sky changing its colours from crimson red to saffron to blue to black......Hey.....I guess I got carried away.....Ssshhhhhhhh......Yep..I am back on track.

I have seen some really amazing beaches , kind of back waters where streams are passing through the village and bonding with the Arabian sea. The place has its own aura and you really feel cool and calm relaxing under the shade of the Coconut and Betel Nut Trees. When in the evening while sitting on the beach watching the sun set , believe me you won't feel like leaving the place.

There are many temples each famous in their own way like the Durgaparmeshwari Temple of Kateel , Kudroli Temple , Udipi Shree Krishna Temple ,Marigudi Temple in Surathkal , Dharmasthala and the Gomateshwar Temple.

This snap to the left is the famous Bappanadu Temple ( Mulki ).The temple has its own legend which is very interesting. Will fugure out the facts before posting it.

There are lots of small temples in each village or taluka and they have their own great stories to say like the one in the snap to the right which is in my native Surathkal.Surathkal is famous for Karnataka Regional Engineering College (The new name is National Institute of Technology,Karnataka).

Traditions , Rituals play an important part and traditional music with legends are intergrated to make it unique and interesting.Below a procession of the God is going to start where the idol of the God after the pooja is taken around in a big chariot. The third snap shows a KOLA in progress.

A Baby Elephant is been given bath in one of the famous temples.

A special mention of the Mangalorean cuisines like Kori Rutti , Bangude da Gassi or Ressa or Pulli Munchi or Fry , Semay da Adde , Arrep Da Gatti , Goli Baje , Gadbad Ice Cream , Surmai da Ressa or Fry , Marwai da Gatti and many other varities.I might have missed something so please excuse me all those foodies out there.

Thats it , Folks.......Will add few more lines in the future , till then take care of yourself and Enjoy Life.
